Mutiara Bangsa 2 VS. BPK Penabur 5
By Bianca Chaidir (VIII A)
This is the story about our experience on a futsal friendly match. It was held on last Saturday, 11th May 2013 at BPK Penabur 5, Kalimalang, East Jakarta. We as Mutiara Bangsa 2 School students went to P5 to do the match.
Around 2 weeks ago, female’s futsal team was formed. It stands from 10 female students, six 8th grade students, and four 7th grade students. Male’s futsal team had formed from selection. For this past 2 weeks, we’re trained at least 3 times a week after school by our PE teacher, Mr. Herlambang.
Female’s futsal team stands from: Devina(7A), Gabriella(7B), Jennifer(7B), Chika(7B), Jessica(8A), Tennie(8A), Bianca(8A), Jessica Condro(8B), Shella(8B), Valerie(8B).
Male’s futsal team stands from: Stiven (8A), Desta (8A), Dede (8A), Chresdio (8A), Dave (8B), Dodo (8B), Rendy (8B) and Alvian (8b)
Finally, the day had come. We must be arrived at school before 7 in the morning. I came around 6.30 AM. Some of my friends had arrived. I had a small chat with them while waiting for the other students.
After all students had arrived, we went BPK Penabur 5 at Jakarta Timur around 7. We went there by 2 cars, one school bus and Dio’s car. The trip took around 40 minutes. We had breakfast and small chat on our way.
We arrived there around 9 AM. We jumped off the bus and put our luggage on the side of the field. Mr. Herlambang distributed MB’s pants to the girls, and vest to the boys.
The first match was the boys’ team. First round, we lost 2-0. We had a time out. Second round, we successfully chased the score. We won 2-4. YAY!
The last match was the girls’ team. First round, we lost 3-0. We had a time out too. We had a small discussion with the team and Mr. Herlambang about our strategy. The time out is over. Second round, we’re not successful to chase the score even we had tried so hard. We lost 3-0. It’s alright, because at least we got an experience.
We went back to school around 11 AM. We were exhausted. Some of us slept in the bus. We arrived at school at 11.30 AM. This is the most exhausting day of my life. But it’s fun too. Remember, it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about the experience, teamwork, and unity J
